Bennie Maupin - Live In Berlin (2008)

'Prophet's Motif' excerpt

'Atma' excerpt

A great live date by ex-Headhunter Bennie Maupin recorded November 2008 at the Berlin JazzFest, donated by Upkerry14.

A very different, extended version of the "Walter Bishop Jr." track I posted a while back; some guest vocals from Hanka Chowaniec-Rybka (check the "Atma" preview above) and a good recording.

Download link below, more Bennie Maupin at this blog here.

Please thank Upkerry14 in the comments.

Likewise. I'm a huge fan of Bennie Maupin. The last couple records I've bought of his are new favorites. Would love to hear this show, having never had the pleasure of seeing him live. If possible, please send the info for this site to the google account linked here.

Thank you so much for all the great music. Please keep up the hard work. I can see how much goes into this site and it's absolutely one of the finest of its kind. I check in daily.

I went private as a fellow blogger got a nasty gram form a record company. If HE isn't under the radar then I know I wasn't either. If you want in at LJA please email me directly. All are welcome. thanks, Bill
