Don't worry man: I follow you every day for some new post.
Go on and thank you: you're doing a fantastic "rare" job.

Mediafire means:
Permission Denied.
"Vera Cruz" by Stanley Turrentine can be downloaded from one of these fine retailers.

Good to get another comp from you.
One of my musical highlights of 2012 was seeing Alice Russell performing with Quantic & El Combo Barbaro, featuring, on Rhodes, Peruvian legend Alfredo Linares. I don't think you have features any of Linares' work on your blog yet. One for the future perhaps?

The final Bertrami track reminds me a great Italian artist, Sergio Endrigo, and his marvellous song from an album with Vinicius and Ungaretti http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pw3AFdl8xBk&

Ran across this blog when I was looking for some Amhad Jamal... and discovered that every compilation on here (at least of the 8 or 9 that I've downloaded) is chock-full of excellent music. Thanks!

Thanks for the comments guys :)
Bernd - I can't keep up with Mediafire deletions, you'll have to grab the Rapidshare one. Thanks Davexy and Soul Gentleman for the connections, will follow those up!

Cheers Simon, this is most enjoyable as usual. Music I'd probably never hear otherwise if not here. I shouldn't be DLing this at all really since I'm in Japan which now has the harshest punishment in the world for such a heinous crime. 2 years jail for DLing, 10 years for Upping! Jeezus! Gimme a break. Go catch some real lawbreakers why doncha? Anyway, thanks again & good luck, out there in the free(?) world! (Sadly) iAnonymous.

Hope you don't get caught, anonymous! Thanks for the comment.

Great compilation as usual Simon.

This is a reminder that I should be listening to Brazilian Jazz
more often than I seem too these days.

Good to hear Gilberto Gil again as well-a real old favourite of mine.

Hope you post more in 2013.

Thanks.

Youch! Anonymous, you should move to Canada! Non-commercial infringement is capped at $5000 with a minimum of $100, and thus far I believe there has not been a single successful prosecution.

but that doesn't mean it isn't still kind of dumb: kat.ph released their top 50 torrent searches for 2012 and there's not a single music search in the list; most searches are for foreign language TV shows (probably because the DVD providers won't ship locally)

So I will agree here with thanks for the rhodes scholarship, always interesting, always appreciated, and long may you run.

btw, I notice a lot of mp3 blogs, those that aren't closing, are moving to some of the smaller share sites like zippyshare. I have no idea if those are free or better or laden with warez, it is just an observation on an alternative ;)

Simon - recently discovered your blog. It's wonderful! I used to frequent the Loronix blogs from Zecalauro as well. Appreciate the history and insight into the artists. Thank-you! I will certainly be checking this out in the future. What pulled me here of all things was trying to find more information about Birthright's "Breath of Life".
